"Pineville, July 8 (AP)- Magistrate R.E. Morgan held Lloyd Lester, 30, for grand jury action on a charge of slaying his father-in-law, William Payne, 50.
"The men quarreled at lester's home in the little Huff creek farming section Saturday. Lester surrendered after the slaying, saying he shot Payne three times after his father-in-law tried to injure him

Anthony was born October 11, 1975, in Welch, WV, a son of Edger and Elizabeth Stacy Lester. He was a machine operator and truck driver for B&J Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was of the Baptist Faith. He had a passion for riding his street bike.
