"Mrs. Leimone was born a daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Gyetvai Smith. She moved to Saint Helena in 1930, and became an active member of the community as well as Saint Joseph's Catholic Church where she played the organ for some time. She worked alongside her husband in the farming, dairy, and poultry business. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles, Scrabble, working in the garden and dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juisto Leimone; and an infant brother, Steve. Mrs. Leimone of the Saint Helena Community died at Durham Regional Hospital after declining health at age 89."
