"Nathan Elzie Allen, 39, of, Haysi, VA, formerly of Jolo, WV, went to be with his Heavenly Father, November 18, 2024 after a long illness; he fought so bravely at his home in Haysi, VA."Nathan was born May 8, 1985 in Bluefield a son of Robyn Allen Mullins and the late Darrel Mullins. Nathan was a 2003 graduate of Iaeger High School. Nathan was employed by Appalachian Hardwoods, Inc. of Haysi, VA where he was a loader/skidder operator. Nathan was a United States Army veteran of the 101st Airbourn Screaming Eagles.

"This is Addie Letner who owned a place in Davy next the old jail. Abt. 1930's or 40's. I believe it was called Letner's Place of Letner's Lunch. She use to have a lunch place where she sold soup and hot dogs to the kids because it was close to the school. Does anyone remember her?
Some of her children were Rosetta, Delilah, Evelyn, Bob, Clyde, Ernest, John, Delores, her husband was William Frederick letner."
