"Patsy was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family, cooking, quilting, shopping and especially traveling with her sister.
"She was a lifelong member of Kopperston Freewill Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing in the choir and serving with the Ladies Aide.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Alfred Martin and brothers, Jesse, Johnny and Thomas Cook.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ray Martin of Kopperston, Brenda Lyons of Oceana and Betty and Tom Gallaher of Grandview; her grandchildren, Megan and Andrew Lehman of Greensboro, NC, Nick and Leslie Gallaher of Greensboro, NC and Patsy and Shane Bragg of Knoxville, TN; her most precious gifts, her great-grandchildren, Vaden Martin Lehman, Konner Andrew Lehman, Lindsey Nicole Gallaher, Samantha Elle Gallaher and Clara Alane Bragg.

"Bobby E. King, 63 of Sandy Huff, Iaeger WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27, 2017 following a short battle with cancer.Bobby was the son of the late Earl D. King and Norma “Jean” King of Iaeger WV. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and a sister Betty Coleman.Those left to treasure his memories are his wife of 41 years, Myrtle, 1 brother, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Brother, Earl “Pete” (Armeda) King of Panther WV, Son, David (Tina) King of Princeton WV, Daughter, Allison (Rick) Phillips of Iaeger WV, and Daughter, Rachel (Dennis “DL”) Day of Cedar Bluff VA. Grandchildren: Austin King, Alexis King, Ethan Riffe, Landon Day and one on the way. Among those left to treasure his memories are a host of family and friends with a special mention of Manuel Acosta.Bobby was a member of the Horse Creek Church of the Living God. He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. Although he focused on his loved ones, his main goal was to make Heaven his home. Bobby was a walking testimony for God not only by his vocal testimony but by his actions. He is treasured and will sadly be missed by all who knew him.Carrying out his final wishes of cremation, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life ceremony to be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Garland Church of the Living God, Garland, WV"
