Bill served our country for four years as a United Stated Marine. He was a former firefighter and board President of the Trap Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He retired as truck driver working with Swift, but also drove for Fulton Trucking. He was a coal miner for several years. He was a man of God and loved his family. Bill loved to hunt, fish, go bowling and read the Bible. He bowled on the Men’s Bowling League in Beckley, WV for several years. He spent in last few years battling dementia."He was born on August 9, 1936 in Mead, WV to the late William Floyd Holshouser (1913-1977) and Mildred Ellis-Holshouser-Shumate (1918-2003).
