"James Clinton Akers, Jr., 56, of Raysal, WV, died Monday, July 18, 2016, at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, WV. James was born November 17, 1959, in Grundy, VA, a son of the late James and Fannie Nipper Akers, Sr. He was a pipe layer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked shooting guns, guitars, and cars."In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Fannie I. Akers; three sisters, Stella Nipper, Linda Payne, and Marie Keaton; and two brothers Ervin and Elmer Rose.
