She went peacefully in her home following a long battle with Alzheimer’s."Lynda was born April 13, 1942 in Iaeger, WV a daughter of the late Herman and Ethel Rutherford Long. Linda worked in retail most of her life and retired in 2000.
"In addition to her parents Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rice; an infant son, Danny Rice; two sisters, Anita Auvil and Virginia Garland; a brother Douglas Long; a special aunt, Mary Wyzick; and a special niece, Susie Pennington.
