"Morse Michael Chinsolo, Sr., 72, of Welch passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 in CAMC General Hospital in Charleston following a short illness."Born July 19, 1951 in Welch he was the son of the late Carl (Macaroni) Chinsolo Sr. and Jean Etta Chinsolo. He was a graduate of Welch High School. He was a truck driver for Sugar Hill Distributing Co. in Welch, and then worked as a buyer for Mercer Wholesale Co. in Bluefield until his retirement.
"He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Marie Miano Chinsolo of the home; a son, Morse Michael (Mikey) Chinsolo Jr. of Welch; two brothers, Carl Chinsolo Jr. and wife Debbie, and Hayden Ray Chinsolo all of Welch; a sister, Lucia Burress and husband Randy of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
"Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 12 Noon in the chapel of the Douglas Mortuary in Welch with the Reverend Randall Dority officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Princeton.
Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
