"Dewey Carol New, 71, of Baisden, departed this life Friday, February 1, 2019 from Logan Regional Medical Center. Dewey enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising animals. He was a member of the War Eagle Church of God."Born on June 9, 1947 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Hersel New (1928-2016) and Nada Kirk-New (1929-1994). In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Jerry Kay New (1967-1991); his brother: Jean Hersel New (Deceased); and three infant brothers.
