"Myrtle E. "Nan" Tolliver, 89, of Baisden, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, W.Va."She was born in Bradshaw, W.Va., July 15, 1922, the daughter of the late James H. and Abigail McClanahan Jones.
"She was a homemaker and a founding member and backer of Gilbert Baptist Temple.
"Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clarence Tolliver, who died in 1994; two brothers, Okey and Raymond; two sisters, Charlotte and Flora; and one grandson.
"She is survived by three sons, Johnny "Buddy," Dennis and Thurman; one daughter, Reba; one brother, Shelby; and four grandchildren.
"Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, May 2, in the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with John Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bluewell, W.Va. Arrangements are under direction of Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert.
