"Robert Lee Morrow Jr., age 71, who departed this life early on Monday, December 28, 2020 at The Havens in Princeton, WV where he had resided for the past four years. He was born in Kyle, WV on May 7, 1949 into the very loving parentage of Robert L. Morrow Sr., and Ruth A. (Hancock) Morrow. After his high school graduation, he entered the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam Era. Upon completing his tour of duty in the military, he moved to New York where he had held several positions in the workforce, and retired as a Conductor for the Long Island Rail Road. Several years ago, he returned home and renewed his membership at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Kyle. Robert enjoyed sports and was an avid fisherman."In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Hancock and two sisters, Pamela D. Morrow Crenshaw and Marion A. Morrow.
"Robert leaves cherished memories to his children: Robert L. Morrow III., of Florida, Kathy D. Morrow of Virginia and Sean A. Morrow of Florida; his siblings: James M. (Bonnie) Cabiness of Texas, Mary M. (Dwight) Bradley of Virginia, Douglas C. Morrow and Darlene M. (Larry) Wilkins both of Kyle, Pastor Julius D. Morrow of Virginia, Roberta A. Freeman and Robert K. "Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Kyle, with Pastor Walter E. Clay, presiding and (his brother,) Pastor Julius D. Morrow eulogist. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, WV, where full military rites will be conducted by the WV and Mercer County Honor Guards.. Veterans and friends will serve as pallbearers. A Revolving Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
