"Lillian Muncy, 54, of Avondale died Monday morning, while being admitted to a Welch Hospital, after a long illness. Lillian died from calcification of her aorta (per WV Register of Deaths, McDowell County, WV, 1963). She was married to and divorced from Ewing Muncy (Deceased)."She was a daughter of the late Ira Workman Sr. (1875~1925) and Amanda "Mandy" Spence-Workman (1880-1952). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie F. Workman-Addair (1902-1958).
"She is survived by her stepmother, Lydia Workman of Bradshaw; three sons, Ira Edward Muncy Sr. of Columbus, OH, Evart Muncy and Larry Muncy (1951-2019), both of Avondale; five daughters, Silthey Muncy-McDonald of Columbus, OH, Della Mae Muncy-Branscome-Lambert (1935-2020) of Jolo, Amanda "Mandy" Ann Muncy-Ferrell of Iaeger. and Luetisha Muncy-Loomis and Stella Muncy, both of Avondale; two sisters, Bertha M Workman-Fleming-Williams (1906-Deceased) of Cleveland, OH, Josie Workman-Bick (1912-Deceased) of Accoville; two half-sisters, Imogene Workman and Edna Workman, both of Bradshaw; one brother, Ira Workman Jr. of Iaeger (1914-Deceased); one half-brother.
