"Survivors include his wife Rita Dianne Wimmer of the home; five children, Lisa Layman of Blue Ridge, VA, Coy Dwight Wimmer Jr. of Colorado, Joseph Wimmer of Bluff City, TN, Rebecka Wimmer also of Bluff City TN and Kelsey Wimmer of Jolo, WV; two sisters, Phyllis Shelton of Asheboro, NC, and Carla Wimmer and Derrick Clark of East Bent, NC; two brothers, Louie Roger Wimmer and wife Brenda of Claypool Hill, VA and Lonnie Wimmer and wife Tonja of East Bend, NC; grandson, Parker Wimmer; and one grandchild on the way; two additional grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
