Brenda was a Christian of the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed cooking, and had won several blue ribbons in baking. She also was a floral designer, loving wife, mother and grandmother."She was born in McDowell County, on March 11, 1952 to the late Thomas "Tom" Marshall Jewell (1925-Deceased) and Eva Vance-Jewell (1934-2002). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, the Rev. John D. Payne (Deceased) and Ruth Payne (Deceased).
"She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 42 years, Roger D.
