Jimmy was a retired coal miner and a member of the Morning Star Regular Baptist Church; he was an avid squirrel hunter and loved his horses and chickens."In addition to his parents, John and Bertha Lambert, Jimmy was preceded in death by two brothers, John Lambert Jr. and Dale Lambert; and four sisters, Nell Charles, Maxine Lester, Ruby Bailey and Rose Gobal.
"Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley Addair Lambert of the home; two sons, Rodney Lambert and companion Alisha Dawn Mullins and Ronnie Ray Lambert; five grandchildren, Brandon Lambert and wife Brooke, Lakyn Lambert, Loraine (LuLu) Lambert, Abby Lambert and Keith Roberts; four sisters, Joann Cline of Ikes Fork, Helen Hunt of Panther, Faye Miller of Huntington and Janita Lambert of Florida; and one brother, Sandford Lambert of Splender Valley.
"Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11 o’clock with Elder Edward Cline, Elder Gene Green and Elder Freddie Reynolds officiating at the Morning Star Regular Baptist Church at Long Pole near Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Trent Cemetery at Long Pole. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
