"Emmett B. Riggs, Jr., age 69, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon July 21, 2014 at his home. Born September 8, 1944 in Kimball, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Emmett B., Sr. & Gladys M. (Brickey) Riggs. Mr. Riggs proudly served with the US Army from 1962 - 1970, assigned to the 4th USA, 15th Artillery Group, and earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired as a Quality Assurance Inspector after 37 years with Lincoln Electric in Euclid, OH."Mr. Riggs is survived by his wife Barbara D. (Hackney) Riggs whom he married December 27, 1964: daughters Natalie D. Riggs of Euclid, OH; Anna M. Moorehead & husband Paul of Willoughby, OH: son Michael C. Riggs & wife Kelly of Gratis, OH: 5 grandchildren: and sister Dolores Davis & husband Donald of Concord, OH.
