Services held at Landgraff With Burial in Woodlawn for wife of Koppers’ Mine Forman.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Volvard in Landgraff for Mrs. Rachel Spencer Price, 30 year old resident of Kimball who died in a local hospital Saturday night after an illness of ten days. Burial took place at Woodlawn cemetery with Re. Joe Bird of the Kimball Methodist church in charge."Mrs. Price was the wide of Cone Price, mine foreman of the Koppers Coal company at Carswell and was well-known throughout this section. She was a native of this county, having been born at Vivian on February 14, 1906, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Goodson (Godson). Her father, who was mine foreman at Kimball, died a year ago. Mrs. Price was a member of the Houston Methodist at Kimball and was active in the social and civic life of the community.
