"Margaret Ann Blankenship, 78, of Bradshaw, WV, passed suddenly to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her home.."Mrs. Blankenship was born February 22, 1943 in Raysal, WV, a daughter of the late Willard and Ella Russell Sexton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bradshaw Church of God in Bradshaw, WV. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed decorating her house and cooking. She was the glue that held her family together.
"In addition to her parents, Willard and Ella Russell Sexton, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Robert Sebastian; two grandsons, William Paul Sebastian and Jimmy Blankenship; and a step daughter, Stormy Mullins.
"Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Burbage “Tiny” Blankenship of the home; one daughter, Leshia Broadwater and husband Gary of Gainsville, VA; two sons, Joseph Robert Sebastian Jr. of Bradshaw and Russell Scott Sebastian and wife Patricia of Manassas, VA; two step daughters, Celeste Brookshier and husband David of Bradshaw, and April Roberts and husband Jessie of Statesville, NC; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Lorene Mullins of Bradshaw; three brothers, William “Bill” Sexton and wife Virginia of Richlands, John Sexton and wife Judy of Raysal, and Ted Sexton of Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.
"Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11 o’clock with Pastor Brian Patterson officiating at the Bradshaw Church of God in Bradshaw. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery on Estep Ridge near Paynesville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
