died Friday, December 21, 1973 in a Princeton hospital following a long illness."He was born March 4, 1910 at Skygusty, the son of the late Whitt and Inda Presley Casey. He was a retired employe of the New River and Pocahontas Coal Company and a member of Local Union No. 5997 of the UMWA.
"Survivors include his wife, Ocie Spence Casey of the home; eight sons, Herbert Spence and Donald Spence of the home, Bobby Spence of Coaldale, Bill Spence, H. N. Spence and Lucky Spence of Rock, Clyde Spence and Elwood Spence of Bluewell; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Shrader of Bluefield, Miss Debra Spence and Georgia Spence, both of the home; two brothers, Marvin Casey and Frank Casey, both of Anawalt; five sisters, Mrs. Garnie Miller of Skygusty, Mrs. Blaine

"PRINCETON – Ruby Matilda Graham Casey, 89, of 100 Church Lane, Princeton died on Thursday, March 27, 2003, in a Bluefield hospital."Born on July 15, 1913 in Skygusty, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Mary Elizabeth Shrader Graham.
"She lived in Princeton for the past year and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church.
"In addition to her parents, two sons, Billy and Roosevelt Casey; a daughter, Charlotte Casey; seven grandchildren, Sandra Stump, Tina Casey, Denise Casey, Sandra Louise Casey, Darlene Casey, Richard Casey and Wallace Casey; and a great-grandson, B.J. Stump preceded her in death.
Survivors include: sons, Bobby Casey and wife Sue of Bluefield, H. N. Casey and wife Carol of Rock, Clyde Casey of Bluewell, Elwood Casey and wife Susan of Bluefield, and Aaron Casey and wife, Bonnette of Bluefield; daughters, Georgia Crawford and husband Bobby of Fort Pierce, Fl., and Virginia Shrader of the home; sisters, Sally Harman of Abbs Valley, Va. and Robbie Graham of Texas; 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchldren."Funeral services will be held at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Elder Joseph Shaffer officiating.
