"Mary Ellen Trent-Wykle, 57, of Lillydale, WV, passed away on Monday September 28, 2020 at her home. Mary was a 1981 graduate of Oceana High School, and attended Southern WV Community and Technical College. She drove a school bus for 32 years for the Wyoming County Board of Education and is a WVSSPA PAC member. Mary was a loving mother and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.She was born on June 7, 1963 in Mullens, WV to the late Roy Trent (1915-2015) and Ruth Ellen Burford-Trent (1924-2016). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brother-in-laws, James Smith (Deceased), Teddy Wykle (Deceased), Johnny Lamb (Deceased); and Allen "Sonny" Urps Jr. (Deceased); three sister-in-laws, Brenda Wykle (Deceased), Della Wykle-Lamb (Deceased), and Dorothy Wykle (Deceased); and her mother-in-law, Hailey Wykle (Deceased).
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Jay Porter Wykle; a daughter, Hailey Ruth Wykle of Morgantown; five brothers, Gary Trent, Greg Trent & wife Cindy Trent, Harold Trent & wife Sandra Trent, Darrell Trent & wife Ernestine Trent, and Roy Trent & wife Doreen Trent; three sisters, Sheila Trent-Shumate & husband Firley Shumate, Debbie Trent-Smith, and Medina Trent-Borja & husband Jesus "Tyson” Borja; three sisters-in-law, Judy Wykle-Urps, Linda Wykle-Mueller & husband Bill Mueller, and Bonnie Wykle-Lusk & husband Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
