"FRED JUNIOR BISHOP My journey has ended and all is well with my soul and I'm at peace with God in heaven. Fred Junior Bishop was 71 years young. Junior Bishop was born December 31, 1940 in Mohegan, WV and passed away on Friday, May 18th, 2012 at the Hospice Bailey Suite in Welch Community Hospital. Junior resided most of his life in Davy, WV and for the past five years has resided in Narrows VA. Junior was a coalminer for 26 years, a proud miner operator, and a service technician on heavy equipment. Junior loved to hunt, fish and also was a very skilled wood worker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Stella Bishop; sisters Virginia Ruth, Mary Lou Green; brothers, Robert, Roy, Charles, Willie, and Harold; also the mother of his three daughters, his first wife, Anna Parks Bishop. Those who are left behind to cherish his memory are three daughters, Freda Bishop of Terrell, NC. and companion Michael Armstrong, Sherry and husband Johnny Potter of Davy, WV, with whom he made his home, Wanda and husband Terry Martin Jr. of Mooresville, NC.; two sisters, Rose and husband Rob Camp of Charmco, WV and Judy Thompson (Baby Judy) of Bluefield, WV; four brothers, Jesse and wife Edith of Roanoke VA, Billy and wife Charmane of Maryland, Russell Bishop of Monroe, NC, Johnny and wife Rose Bishop of Welch, WV; six grandchildren, Wesley and wife Carrie Hale, of Terrell, NC, Alicia and husband Phil Hartwell of. Bluefield, WV, Danielle and husband Jason Mann of Mt. Ulla, NC, Amber and husband Allen Bowles of Mooresville, NC, Jonathan and wife Casey Potter of Welch, WV, Joshua Potter of the home; six great grandchildren, Peyton Hale, Aries Hartwell, Nathaniel and Elijah Potter, Jaylin Mann and Presleiqh Bowles; also left to cherish his memory are an array of nieces and nephews that loved him very much!
