"Ballard Franklin Belcher, 63, of Wilcoe, was dead on arrival Monday at a Welch hospital."He had lived in Wilcoe for nine years and was formerly of Belcher Mountain. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of UMWA Local Union No 6029 and the Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church, Belcher Mountain. Born in Welch, he was a son of the late Tobias and Lottie Scarberry Belcher. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
"Survivors: wife, Mrs Shirley Jones Pendry Belcher; daughter mrs.
