Born the middle daughter of Robert Clyde and Emma Jane (Buchanan) Jackson in Plum Tree, North Carolina, Hazel married Thearl Pruitt on March 17, 1945 and considered her 5 children her greatest blessing."Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Fred, Frank and Carl, son Gary and daughter Rosemarie.
"Survived by sisters Addie Brooks of Marion, VA. Lola Pruitt of Valley City, Ohio, sons Larry of Pleasanton, KS and Robert of Ft. Chiswell, Va., daughter Pamela Pruitt-Baker of Andover,
