She was the widow of Nathan Adkins who passed away in 2004.
"She was a resident of Wilcoe the greater part of her life. She was of the Methodist faith and faithfully attended Gary United Methodist Church, where she worshipped surrounded by her many friends and neighbors. She was formerly employed for many years by Sears and Roebuck in Welch.
"Mrs. Adkins was the last survivor of the seven children of Henry and Mary Mabry. Survivors include many nieces, nephews and cousins. She had two very special people in her life, Caregiver, Wayne Hoback of Gary and Bill Cottles of Florida.
"Graveside services conducted by the family at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV, on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with her nephew, Danny Rose officiating.
