"Connie Jeanette Laxton, 59, of Glen Fork, WV passed away Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Ruby Memorial
Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born on November 13, 1958 in Beckley, WV a daughter of Eunice
Daphine Day Acord of Glen Fork and the late Hiram Acord. Jeanette was a member of the Bellemeade
Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Ronnie
Lafferty; and an uncle Verner Day. In addition to her mother survivors include four sons Mike (Christy)
Laxton, Matthew (Dana) Laxton, Thomas Laxton and David (Leeann) Laxton; a sister Carol Anne Lafferty;
twelve grandchildren Brent and Madden Atwood, Luke, Andrea, Sydney, Nathan Sophie, Hannah, Abigail,
Alexis and Isabella Laxton, and Landon Stewart; three nephews Chris Brooks, Alan Brooks and Stephen
Brooks; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday
February 10th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Nathan Vance
officiating. She will be laid to rest in Glen Fork Community Cemetery, Glen Fork, WV."
