"Patricia L. McGraw, 78, of Welch passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in Welch Community Hospital, Welch."Born October 22, 1941 in Roderfield, WV she was the daughter of the late Howard Branson and Bertha Wright (sic, Bright) Branson.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Randall Fleming, and two brothers and one sister.
"She was a graduate of Welch High School, Bluefield State College and attended West Virginia University and earned her degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. She worked for various doctors in the area, and was formerly employed by Family Health Care in Wyoming County. Pat was a member of the McDowell County Women’s Club and the Royal Order of the Moose. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Welch.
"Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James McGraw of the home; a son, Bill Fleming and wife Karen of Welch; a step-daughter, Karyn Brummett of Roanoke, VA; three sisters, Mary Worley and husband William of Welch, Martha Collins and husband Chester and Peggy O’Donnell all of Maryland; and six grandchildren.
"Funeral service will be conducted Friday, June 26, at 11 a.m. in the Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with the Rev. Randall Dority officiating. Friends may call at the Mausoleum from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
