"Randy L. (Little Pitch) Dowell, 64, of Cucumber passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 in Heritage Hall in Tazewell, VA.
"Born May 3, 1955 in Welch he was the son of the late Edward C. (Pitch) Dowell and Rebecca Baldwin Dowell. He loved the mountains, hunting, jogging and listening to music. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Edward Dowell, and a sister Linda Stevenson.
"Those left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Darlene Mitchell and husband Kenny of Cucumber, and Starla Marrs of North Tazewell, VA; two brothers, Roger Dowell and companion Marie of War, and Jerry Dowell and wife Amanda of North Tazewell; and several nieces and nephews.
"Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, November 5, at 12 Noon in the Little Country Church in War with Pastor Kenny Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA.
"Friends may call Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
"Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
