"Peggy L. Bailey Vance, 51, of Rock View, WV passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV following a long illness. She was born on January 31, 1974 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was the daughter of Phyllis (Harry) Reid and the late J.C. Tilley. In addition to her dad J.C., she is preceded in death by two brothers Wayman Tilley and Little Harry, a mother-in-law Kathy Vance, and a step sister Angie Cook. Those left to cherish her memories are Alvin Vance, the love of her life, her daughter Makayla Bailey, her son-nephew Jackie (Dana) Bailey, two step daughters Raylee and Paige, a sister Clarice (Brian) Miller, a brother Joey (Laken) Reid. She was an aunt to Tabitha (Brian) Cline in which she had a special bond with, Jonathan (Kat) Tilley, Emiley Miller, and Noah (Taylor) Vance. She was a great aunt to Bryson Blankenship, Little Brian Cline, Jackson Bailey, Kendra Cline and Alania Vance. She had two step sisters Crystal (Mike) Griffith and Kelly (Bo) Raye, and many more, to many to mention. She loved her family. Her and her sister Clarice had an unbreakable bond. She will surely be missed. Funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, September 5th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Herman Cook and Bro. Jackie Bailey officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 5 pm until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated following the service. "Clifton Lee "C. L." Walls, 71, of Princeton, WV formerly of Oceana, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. He was born on December 3, 1950 in Oceana, WV a son of the late Clifton Harry and Virginia Juanita Yates Walls. He attended the First Baptist Church of Bluewell and is a 1969 graduate of Oceana High School. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Janet Sue Linkous Walls a brother Mark Walls his grandmother Anna Byrd Walls who raised him as her own. Survivors include his loving wife of three years Kathy Queen Walls two daughters Melissa Cochran and husband Michael of Fanrock, and Erica Hill and husband Tony of Fairdale a son Patrick Walls and wife Kelly of Matheny a step daughter Tina Mullen and husband Patrick a step son John Fox and wife Michelle seventeen grandchildren Brandon Cochran and wife Bonnie, Justin Cochran, Britney Cochran, Sydney Cochran, Ethan Hill, Matthew Hill, McKinlea Hill, Eli Hill, Kelsey Walls, Kasey Walls, Tanner Walls, Paden Mullen, Bryson Mullen, Kinsey Mullen, Chelsea Fox, Jacob Fox, and Chris Ward one great grandchild Penelope Cochran and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 13th at the Matheny Methodist Church, Matheny, WV with Rev. James Milam, and Rev. Ron Acord officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service on Monday at the Church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. CL's life was a reflection of love and dedication to family. His children and grandchildren remember a man who worked hard and sacrificed for them. Countless hours were spent with them in their chosen interests whether it be baseball, football, softball, bowling, golf, cheerleading, track, cross-country, hunting or fishing. He will be remembered for being a fierce protector of the ones he loved. He will be missed more than words could ever express! He left behind a legacy of the love of God and a prayer for them all to be reunited with him again in Heaven. May the circle be unbroken!
