"Hazel Bailey Dotson, 86, of Bull Creek near Mohawk, WV, passed away April 11, 2022 following a short illness."Hazel was born March 10, 1936 in Bull Creek a daughter of the late Noah and Bessie Mounts Bailey. She was a homemaker, a member of the Greenbrier Freewill Baptist Church and the last surviving member of her original family.
"In addition to her parents, Noah and Bessie Bailey, Hazel was preceded in death by her step father, Mont Cline; one son, Larry J. Dotson; a son-in-law, William McBryde; a granddaughter, Courtney Noel McBryde; and siblings, Alice, Rosella, Gladys, Crockett, Pearl and Howard.
"Survivors include her husband, Luther Dotson; five children, Gayetta McBryde, Cathy Cline, Connie Tester, Michael and wife Shelba Dotson and Tracey and wife Michelle Dotson; and grandchildren, Seth and Syn McBryde, Eric and Joey Dotson, Kara Dellorso, Reagan Stafford, Lindsey Kennedy, Alissa Mullins, Melody Estep, Jerri Danielle Baker, Courtney Dotson, Ashleigh Dotson, Hillary Stevens, Mallory Johnson, Alexis Lowe, and Brandon Branch. She was affectionally know as MaMaw Hazie by 18 great grandchildren. Special friends of Hazel were Gaynell Cline, Ann Lockhart and Naomi Cline.
"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11 o’clock with Reverend Lawyer Bailey Jr. and Elder Fred Bailey officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth and Syn McBryde, Eric Dotson, Jeffrey Mullins, Donald Lowe, and Larry Van Dyke.

"Erma Jean “Jeannie” Gibson, 63, of Iaeger, WV, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Jeannie was born August 26, 1958, in Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late Stuart Daniel and Edna Rowe Robinette. She loved her Bible and going to church, and she loved her cat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonnie Louise Robinette, Bertha Robinette and Carol Beckner, and two brothers Junior and James Robinette. Survivors include one daughter and a granddaughter; a step-daughter, Heather Waddell and a step-granddaughter Hannah Waddell both of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Virgie Beckner of Lick Branch; three brothers, Lawrence, Ronnie, and Lonnie “Rosie” Robinette all of Lick Branch; and a special niece, Bernice Gibson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 1 o’clock with Elder Fred Bailey, Reverend Gary Walker, Reverend Teddy Vance and Reverend James Vance officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery at Roderfield. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
