"Lois Jean Cooper (83) of Pineville, WV born to the late William Billy McMillion and Lela Brinegar McMillion of Bearhole, WV. Went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, peacefully on saturday February 5th 2022.

"She was a wonderful wife, proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a dedicated daughter in Christ. She was an avid attendee of her home church for many years, Pineville Church of God. And was wyoming county's own Queen of Queens in September 1993.

"She considered family to be her greatest blessings in life. When she wasn't spending time with loved ones she enjoyed: Fishing, cooking homemade meals, road trips, dancing and music. Wathcing old westerns, gardening, porch sitting and feeling the warm sun upon her face, and reminiscing on times past.

"She was the kindest soul you could ever meet. To know her was to love her. A laugh so contagious that it made you laugh. Never did she meet a stranger and offered a warm plate and prayers to anyone she'd meet. A heart bigger than her body, and the kind of hug that when she held you it felt like home.

"A true lady, one of a kind.

"Lois is survived by her children:

"Daughter, Debra Compton and her children. Adam Compton, Savanna Johnson, Nathan Compton
