"Mr. Charles Thomas Addair, 83, of Garretts Fork of Chapmanville, was born March 21, 1925, at Garland Mountain, McDowell County, a son of the late William Hayes and Orpha Deskins Addair. Mr. Addair went to be with the Lord following an automobile accident at Chapmanville Saturday, February 7, 2009.Also preceding him in death were two sons, Frealin and Jerry Addair.
Mr. Addair was retired from Appalachian Power Company, a member of Garrett Chapel Community Church, a proud outdoorsman and gun owner and a woodworking craftsman.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Rogers Addair; three daughters, Janie (Bobby) Casto of Chapmanville, Sarah "Missy" (Ernest) Craddock of Lake and Amanda Addair Woody of Crawley Creek; four sons, Johnny Addair of Garrets Fork, Jim Addair of Mill Creek, Brad Addair of Virginia and Matt Addair of North Carolina; four brothers, Leon Addair of Arandell, Bernard Addair of Grapevine, Raleigh Addair of North Carolina and Eugene Addair of Maryland; two sisters, Lona Van Dyke of War, and Janet Adams of Bartley; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and church family.

"Mildred Addair, 79, of Garrett Fork of Chapmanville, was born April 17, 1931, at Switzer, a daughter of the late James R. and Jane Gwinn Rogers. She went to be with the Lord and her husband Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Logan Regional Medical Center ."Also preceding her in death was her husband, Charles T. Addair, on February 7, 2009; two sons, Freelin and Jerry Addair, and several half-sisters and brothers.
"Mrs. Addair was a homemaker and retired from PRIDE in Logan County Inc. She was a member of the Garrett Chapel Church for over 40 years where she spent her life serving her Lord and Saviour.
