"Mildred Louise Shrewsburry, 68, of Amigo, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Mildred was born August 30, 1951 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Normie “Shorty” and Lillie Estell Hileman Toler. Mildred loved the Lord, her family and friends, and her dog, Maddie. She will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her siblings: Edward Toler, Jancie Walker, Susie Cameron, Lucy and Jr. Toler. Survivors include her husband, Surbert Shrewsburry of Amigo; daughters: Debra England of Greensboro, NC, and Shyrl Ware and husband Terry of Asheboro, NC; son, Wendell England of Asheboro, NC; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and one brother, William Paul Toler and wife Glenda of Long Beach, CA. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11 o’clock with Reverend Earl Brewer Jr. officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Short Cemetery at Huff Creek. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family Monday, July 6, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
