at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 13, 1922 in Coal Mountain, WV a son of the
late Walter and Maude Toler Thompson. Andrew is the founder of the Upper Room Jesus Name Church and
pastored there for many years, UMWA Local 7970 and is a United States World War II Army Veteran. In
addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Reba Kennedy Thompson and a daughter
Loraine Kennedy. Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years Carnell Harper Thompson; four daughters Dora
(Brad) Kennedy of Long Branch, Corenia Toler of Mullens, Wynetta (Jeremy) Gautier of New Richmond and
Lucille (Marvin) Blackburn of Long Branch; two sons Freddie (Rose) Thompson of Sunhill and Teddy (Kay)
Thompson of Roanoke, VA; five step children Francis (Larry) Hatfield of Coal Mountain, Ronald (Roberta)
