"Mary "Thelma" Blankenship, 87, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her home. She had been a resident of Princeton for 25 years and attended the Holiness Church of God. She was a retired self-employed business owner."Born on August 2, 1932 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Fannie Cooper-Hagerman (1914-1981) and stepfather, Ulyss Hagerman (1909-2001). She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Arnold Blankenship (Deceased); a brother, Hobert Hagerman (Deceased); and a sister, Dorothy Ellen Hagerman-Mullins-Campbell (1934-1980).

"Claudia T Bryson, 76, of Kyle, WV departed this life Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born October 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Bryson and Eleanor Manns Bryson."Claudia was a Graduate of Elkhorn High School, attended cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician for nearly 50 years. Her passions were reading the Bible, solving word search puzzles, watching westerns, cooking and caring for others.
"Other than her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Bryson and Eugene Bryson.
"Her memory will be cherished by her two sons, Renaldo Bryson and Tyrone Bryson (Melanie); three grandchildren, Amber Bryson, Cameron Bryson, and Layana Bryson; grandchildren by marriage include, Johnathan Selvage, Reginald Brownlee, and Kimberly Brownlee; brothers, Victor Bryson, Renaldo Bryson, Ellis Bryson Sr. (Gloria), Vincent Bryson Sr. (Wanda); sisters, Elizabeth Mason, and Leola Bryson; and a host of other family and friends.
"A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 12: Noon in the Widener Funeral Home Chapel, Northfork, WV with Pastor Dana J Walton officiating. Burial Will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, route 20 Bluefield, WV. The family will receive visitors as a walk-through visitation from 11:AM until the hour of service. Due to the pandemic, social distancing will be enforced, wearing of face masks/coverings required and service limited to family members only.
