She was a retired teacher for the McDowell County Board of Education and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

"Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Danny Justice of the home; two daughters, Amanda Cline of Panther and Sarah Shirley of Tazewell, VA; four grandchildren, Katharyne and Trey Cline both of Panther and Travis and Alex Shirley both of Tazewell, VA; four brothers, Clark, Larry, Harlen and Alvin Lockhart.
