"Reverend Creed James Roberts, 73,of Bluewell, WV, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to walk on the Golden streets of Heaven, on February 22, 2014. Creed was born January 7, 1941, in Ikes Fork, WV, a son of the late Luther B. and Corda D. Walker Roberts. He was a retired coal miner and loved to fish. He enjoyed fixing things in the home and was called "Mr. Fix It." In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Ann Steele Roberts; an infant son, Donald Ray Roberts, three brothers, Verion Roberts, LeRoy Roberts, and Delbert Roberts, two sisters, Zella Callihan and Della Roberts and one aunt Frances Seiple . Survivors include three sons, Russell Roberts and wife Beverly of Bluewell, WV, Roland Roberts and wife Renne Roberts of North Carolina, Cecil Roberts of Athens, WV; one daughter, Brenda Roberts of Hurricane, WV."Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery at Ikes Fork."
