"Lonnie H. Harper Sr., 81, of Brenton, West Virginia, born July 23, 1944, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virgie Harper sons Norman (Donna) Morgan and Hansel (Lisa) Morgan grandchildren Matthew Morgan and Robert “Pete” Morgan as well as his mother, father, and many siblings. Lonnie was a devoted and hardworking man who spent many years as a coal miner, providing for his family with strength, dedication, and pride. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially coon hunting and rabbit hunting. Lonnie also had a natural talent for mechanical work and was known for being able to fix just about anything. He was a faithful Pentecostal servant of the Lord who cherished his time in church and making memories with his family. Lonnie made a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Robert (Love) Morgan, Hershey (April) Harper, Ernie (Liz) Harper, Stephanie (Mervin) Sizemore, Rachel (John) Morgan, Crystal (Hank) Toler, Misty (Beanie) Bledsoe, and April (Jeremy) Bailey along with his siblings Phoebe Toler, Clarence Harper, and Betty Addison. “Paw Paw” Lonnie is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Lonnie will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors and mechanical work, and most of all, his deep and abiding love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Brenton Community Church, Brenton, WV with Bro. Louie Collins officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 6 pm until time of service on Friday at the church. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated following the service. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. "

Her outgoing personality took charge when she entered a room. You knew she was there. She was a kindhearted person who always greeted you with a hug or kiss on the cheek. A few of her favorite past times were watching Law and Order, Chicago P.D. and dancing. She always took time to watch wrestling with her husband. Melissa also had a love for animals having three dogs and two cats. She touched the hearts of many and will be sadly missed yet, her loving ways should bring a smile to all that knew her.
