"Alma (Jack) C. Brown, 64, was dead on arrival Saturday at a Pineville clinic of natural causes."Born 27 Sep 1919, at Maben, he was a son on Ola Leona McGraw Brown of McGraws and the late John Ott Brown in 1968.
"Mr. Brown was a lifelong resident of McGraws, a member of the Milam Methodist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 151 in Mullens and retired custodian, having worked for the Wyoming County Board of Education.
"He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Trump in 1982 and a brother, Ott Brown, Jr. in 1983.
"Survivors include two daughters, Alma Sneed of McGraws; Janice Ames of Hinton; a son, John Brown of Rialto, Calif.; five sisters, Naomi Clay of Saulsville; Eula Lee Polk and Norma Stewart, both of Fairfax, VA.; Nancy Hash of Arlington, VA.; and Evelyn Legg of Mt. Lookout; a brother, Bill Brown of Cleona, PA.; six grandchildren.

She was born on December 11, 1960 in Cincinnati,OH a daughter of the late Ace Cline and Irene Blankenship Cline. Arlene was a 1979 Oceana High School graduate. After high school, she went to cosmetology school to build a career that she loved. Arlene was an extraordinary woman, she worked hard and loved even harder. She was a beautician for 41 years and cared for each one of her clients in a special way. Arlene loved more than anything to be outside, some of her favorite pass times were taking care of her garden and flowers, watching the hummingbirds, and spending time with her family."In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Wanda Faye Cline and Kadie Cline
Acord; and two brothers Gary Ray Cline and Norman Cline."Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years Bruce Lopez; a daughter Tori Lopez (D.J. Hood); a son Jarred (Casey) Cook; and a host of other loving family and friends. Arlene is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
