"Born August 1, 1931 in Welch she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Sizemore and Ellen Flanagan Sizemore. She was a graduate of Welch High School, and was a sales clerk at G. C. Murphy Co. in Welch for over 30 years. She was a life long member of the North Welch First Church of God.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Bowens, and son-in-law Frank Sexton.
