Ocie was a homemaker and formerly employed by McDowell County Commission on Aging as a cook. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and getting her hair done.

Born on July 8, 1929 in Greenbrier County, Mary was the daughter of the late Morgan Gregory and Bessie Ann Bowes Gregory. Mary devoted her life to her husband, her "four girls", and her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and her organizational skills were extraordinary. She loved to can and her vegetable and flower gardens were a sight to behold. There is no doubt, today she is spending time in the most beautiful garden of all.
