"Vernetta (Waldron) Parks, 61, of Davy, WV entered the gates of Heaven on the morning of Tuesday, May 31, 2022, there to walk her through was the love of her life, her husband Charles Parks, never to be separated again. Born on November 10, 1960 in Welch to the now deceased her father, Chester Waldron and her mother, Alice Waldron. She was also preceded in death by three brother, Shawn and Kim Waldron and Ranny Duncan were there waiting."Vernetta is survived by her step-son Charles Parks (Kelly) of Virginia, whom she loved with all her heart; and two granddaughters, Sabrina and Destiny.
"“Netta” as she was affectionately called by so many was also survived by her only sister and caregiver, Dawn (Bobby) Newcomb of Davy, whom she made her home with after the passing of her husband. Netta is also survived by two nieces, Mary Ann (John) Giles of Fredericksburg, VA, and Betty Newcomb of Davy; and one nephew, Bryan Newcomb of Davy, whom in her heart was also her kids. She also left four great nieces and one great nephew whom she loved with her whole heart, Kelsey Barnett, Casey Skinner, Kaylee Newcomb and her partner in crime Aubrey Newcomb also Jacob Newcomb her go after buddy and several other nieces and nephews. Netta is also going to be missed by her phone buddy and close friend, Sherri Stevens of Big Jenny.
