"Mason Elmer Cline, 78, of Panther, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his residence.
Mason was born December 12, 1943 in Panther, WV a son of the late Adam and Elizabeth Lockhart Cline. He was a member of the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church, a retired coal miner and saw mill worker."In addition to his parents Mason was preceded in death by five sisters, Sharon Cline Caudill, Opal Cline Lester, Marlene Cline Hurley, Kathy Cline, and Verbal Cline Rash and three brothers, Ray Wade Cline, Troy Lee Cline and Garland Cline.
"Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Loraine Cline of the home; two sons, Victor Ray Cline and wife Greta of Short Pole and Daniel Lee Cline and wife Dusty of Horse Creek, WV; three grandchildren, Colton Cline, Kaitlyn Cline and Kylee Cline all of Horse Creek, WV; one brother, Jackie Cline and wife Betty of Fayetteville, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and their nurses.
"Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 1 o’clock, with Elder Dallas Dotson, Elder Fred Bailey, Elder Arthur Short, Elder Danny Hurley and Elder Danny McCoy officiating at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church in Panther, WV. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery on Short Pole Road near Panther, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
