"Minnie was born in 1936 to Pricey and John Thomas Estep at Raysal, WV. She lived on a farm as a child. At age 18 she married Arthur Lewis. They had five children. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, son James Harold Lewis, first husband Arthur Lewis, and 2nd husband Robert Barnette. she was also preceded in death by brothers Johnny, Henry, William, Homer and Walter. Minnie's sisters were Bertha, Belle, Savannah, and Alva."Minnie enjoyed ministering, singing, music, gardening, and sewing. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
"Funeral service for Minnie Beatrice Estep Lewis Barrett will be held at the Jesus Church of Bartley, Bartley, WV, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Pete Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Lonoke Cemetery in Jolo, WV.
