She retired from Drexel Heritage Furniture and she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Edward Seech and Ivan D. Wood; a daughter, Belinda Jean Seech; a son, Charles Robert Seech; five sisters, Dorothy Goodwin, Eleanor Justice, Virginia Mitchem, Gloria Jean Athey and Judith Carolyn Brown; a brother, Robert Stanley Dillon, Jr. Mrs. Wood loved to crochet, cook and spend time with her loved ones.
"Surviving are Sue Hulin and husband Terry of Lexington; two sisters, Brenda Dillon Honeycutt Williams and husband Henry Clyde Williams of High Point and Helen Carole Wilson and husband Ken of Waynesville; four grandchildren, Tonja McGee, Kevin and Brian Seech, and Crystal Bulla; several great-grandchildren, and a very special great-great-grandchild, Ryleigh Grace Wilson and a very special great-great-niece, Ava Alexis DIllion.
"A Celebration of Mary's life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by the Pastor David Davis. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
