In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Brewster Sr.; one daughter, Debra Brewster Anderson, one sister, Bonnie Compton, and two brothers, William and Marvin Roberts.
"Survivors include one son, James A Brewster Jr. and wife Karen of Canvas WV, five daughters, Rosa Mae Brewster of New Jersey, Rhonda Brewster Compton and husband Paul of Marianna WV, Ramona Scott and husband Leonard of Princeton WV, Deidra Taylor of Charleston WV, and Tressa Brookman and husband Jeff of Princeton WV; one sister, Dorcas Roberts Shafer of Murfreesboro TN, three brothers, Rabon Roberts of Turkey Creek WV, Darrell Roberts of Floyd VA, and Gary Roberts of Marianna WV; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
