"Virginia Margaret Williams Roberts, "MawMaw", 93, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 31, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 10, 1923 in Eccles, WV, a daughter of the late Ward and Mamie Loving Williams of South Charleston, WV. Virginia loved and served the Lord and was a member of the Johnnycake Church of the Living God in Iaeger, WV. She was a retired cook with the McDowell County Board of Education at Iaeger Elementary School for 24 years. Virginia enjoyed cooking Banana Pudding and Biscuits and Gravy. She also enjoyed going to church, working in the yard and spending time with her family and friends. Virginia looked forward to attending the Roberts Family Reunion at Panther State Park every summer.In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clyde Roberts, a son Clyde Harold Roberts, Sr., a daughter, Evelyn Woosley, a sister, Pauline Covert, two brothers, Ward Williams, Jr., and Edward Williams, two grandchildren, Clyde Harold "Howie" Roberts, Jr., and Ward Anthony "Tony" Roberts, and two great-grandchildren, Sydney Grace Bennett and Michael David Salyers. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Roberts and Mary Ann of Ballard, WV, Brenzil Roberts and Cathy of Bluffton, SC; four daughters, Donna Jackson and Dennis of Huber Heights, OH, Anita Mullins of Iaeger, WV, Joyce Salyers and Russell of Iaeger, WV, and Diana Husted and Robert of Bremerton, WA, 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. "Evelyn was born February 24, 1948, in Iaeger, WV, a daughter of the late Reverend Clyde Roberts and Virginia Williams Roberts.
"In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey McDonald and her second husband Ival Edgar Woosley; and one brother, Clyde Harold Roberts.
