"....George Matthew Mullins married to Martha 'Matty' Rowe-- children were Georgia A Mullins Riffe Brumfield, Jefferson Rowe Mullins, etc. I'm told he was murdered in June 1920 near a train depot in Welch, WVa defending his boys from drunken men-- the 1910 Census has him on a farm in McDowell (possibly a part time teacher also). I'm also looking for information on the death circumstances of George's brother, Solomon King Mullins married to Ardelia McFalls Mullins-- children were Samuel, Erwin, Irene, Ella etc-- I'm given a death year of 1917 and told he was killed by the family of his wife. Both George & Solomon were the children of Abraham Mullins & Elizabeth McPeek...."
