WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Pearlie Justice Mounts. Betty was a member of the Oceana
Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Curtis “Bud”
Browning, Jr.; a grandson Johnathan Browning; two brother’s Donald Mounts, and Luther Mounts; and
a sister Charlene Mounts. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Curtis Browning of Little
Creek; a daughter Delores (Larry) Arbogast of Bluff City, TN; a son Randy (Tena) Browning of Fairdale;
two sisters Eunice Stone of Charleston, and Billie (Roger) Cline of Smith Mountain, VA; three grandchildren
Holly (Steven) Trent, Natasha (John) Cook, and Cory (Alina) Browning; seven great grandchildren Kameron,
Konnor, Kahne, Charley, Julian, Maricel, and Aja; a niece Tammy (Johnny) Vanover; and a nephew Roger
Cline, Jr.; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral

"Jason Harold Dillon, 37, of Kopperston, WV died suddenly Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at his home.
He was born December 8, 1976 in Beckley, WV, and was a lifelong resident of Kopperston, WV.
Jason was most proud of his employment on an ambulance team during which time he received
National Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. Jason attended Delilah United Methodist
Church and was a member of the choir. In 2013, he took membership in the church and rededicated
his life to the Lord. He had an incredibly sharp memory and never forgot an occasion or date. He was
very proud of family heritage and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Jason was preceded in
death by maternal grandparents, Lloyd E. Sr. and Inez Cook, paternal grandfather, Harold Z. Dillon ,
Father Samuel C. Dillon, and uncle, Jack Bailey. Family members still living include his mother,
Jeannette Cook Dillon, Brother, Samuel Clay Dillon, nephew Samuel Konnor Dillon, Uncle, Charles L.
Cook (Ann), all of Oceana, WV, Uncle Carlos W. Cook (Sharon) of Kingsport, Tennessee, uncle Lloyd E.
Cook, Jr. (Kay) of Wichita, Kansas, paternal grandmother, Edna Mae Dillon of Kopperston, aunt Susan
Dillon Lusk (Leon) of Kopperston of Kopperston, and uncle Harold Stephen Dillon (Kathy) of Gautier,
Mississippi, along with many cousins who will miss him. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Bella,
Punkin, and Izzy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 29, 2014 at the Delilah
United Methodist Church, Oceana, WV, with Pastor Stan Lowery officiating. Entombment services will

Edna Mae Jane Caldwell

"It is with deep sadness that we share with you the passing of our dear Edna Mae Jane Caldwell Dillon
on November 22, 2017, and we are joyful for what awaits her in heaven as she joins her husband,
Harold Dillon, her son Samuel Dillon, her brother Harmon Caldwell, her grandson Jason Dillon, her son
– in – law Eddie Bostic and many other loved ones. Edna was born in McCoy, VA on April 3, 1924 to
Courtney Caldwell and Lucy Albert Caldwell. She lost her mother at a very tender young age, but the
love of her very special Aunt Lena molded her into an unselfish Christian full of unconditional love for
others. Edna and Harold made their home in Kopperston where they made growing up fun and
carefree and where she continued to reside with her daughter Susan. Edna was a marvelous
homemaker who could make old things look new, simple food taste wonderful and win the love of
every child she met. She was a member of the Delilah Methodist Church where she was a beloved
Sunday School teacher for many years and a choir and women’s group member. Edna leaves behind the
broken hearts of sisters Hazel Hale and Elizabeth Hale both of Blacksburg, VA, a son Harold Dillon and
wife Kathy of Gautier, MS, daughters Sandra Bostic of Apex, NC, and Susan Lusk and husband Leon of
Kopperston, WV. Sandra and Susan have provided her care together for many years. Survivors also
include eight grandchildren, Julie Hussey and husband Don of Apex, NC, Aimee Page and husband
David of Holly Springs, NC, Stephanie Duncan and husband Casey of Calera, AL, Brian Dillon and wife
Jennifer of Midlothian, VA, Clay Dillon of Oceana, Kelly Bailey and husband Donald of Oceana, Monica
Carlucci and husband Robert of Glen Daniel, WV, Stuart Lusk and wife Candice of Kopperston, WV,
seventeen great-grandchildren, Jerry and Joshua Hussey of Apex, NC, Amber Emerson and husband
Zach of New Hill, NC, Carter and Caroline Duncan of Calera, AL, Abigail and Elliott Sweeny of
Midlothian, VA, Konnor Dillon of Alderson, WV, Alexandria and Brooke Bailey of Oceana, WV, Robert
Jr, Joseph and Ryan Carlucci of Glen Daniel, WV, Marine Trevor Anderson of Cherry Point, NC, Abby,
Kyndal and Ian Lusk of Kopperston, WV. A daughter-in-law, Jeanette Dillon of Oceana, WV and a
loving niece and caregiver, Donna Dillon of Kopperston, WV. Edna’s final days were spent at Bower’s
Hospice House in Beckley, WV and we will be forever grateful for the care she was given, and the
compassion shown to her family. We pray that God will continue to bless their efforts. We also want
to thank the loving members of Delilah Methodist Church and Minister Ron Acord for all of their caring
and support. A special thank you to Stafford Family Funeral Home for their caring and excellent
