Lewis Cornelius Roberts was born on 27 Nov 1883 on Huff Creek, Wyoming Co,
WV; died on 28 Dec 1912 at Beaver Lake, British Columbia, Canada; buried at
Chehalis, WA; not married. Lewis accidently shot himself as he was removing
a single bolt gun from his sleigh. There is a Roberts Lake and Roberts Peak
named for the family in B.C. (What about Roberts Bank?, is this also named
for the family?). Lewis had no children. Sometime in the 1890's Lewis went
to WA with John Wiley Roberts and then returned to WV to talk his father
into moving there. If true, Lewis would have only been 16 or 17 when he
first went to WA because he was back in McDowell Co, WV in 1900.
