"Troy Mitchem BRIDGETON, N.J. - Troy Mitchem, 72, of 69 Casarow Drive, died Sunday in Bridgeton Hospital of Black lung disease. He had moved to Bridgeton from New Castle, Del., last June. Mr. Mitchem, a native of Lackie, W.Va, retired as a coal miner for Pocahontas Fuel Co. about 1959. He then worked for Borden Ice Cream in Wilmington for about eight years. He was a member of the United Mine Workers and Faith City Church in Wilmington and the Hopewell Church of God in Bridge-ton. He is survived by his wife, the former Carrie Goins; seven daughters, Helen Moore of Tampa, Fla., Frances Sadler and Geraldine Mitchem, both of Wilmington, Mamie Szakasits and Patsy Table, both of Bridgeton, Lucille Isom of Hopewell, Va., and Norma Fralick of Shiloh; five sons, Paul Mitchem of Manassas, Va., Wilson M. Mullins Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C., Robert Mullins of Laurel Lake, John Mullins of Lexington, N.C., and Carl Mullins of Bridgeton; a brother, Jack of Princeton, W.Va.; four sisters, Ruby Goins of Bassett, Va., and Eva Rose, Bernice Beinkins, and Letha Forrest, all of Princeton, W.Va.; 25 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Grace-lawn Memorial Park, Du Pont Parkway, Wilmington Manor, Del., where friends may call after 1:15 p.m. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Faith City Church, Delaware 7, 19702."
